The Macallan commissioned me to create a generative artwork for their Art Basel takeover of The Bass Museum of Art in Miami. The artwork, titled 'Refractions', is a real-time generative artwork that takes inspiration from the prism-like effect produced by light refracting through ice textures. On the evening of December 2, 2022, I performed the artwork live as it was projection-mapped onto the facade of The Bass Museum, serving as the audio-reactive visuals for a performance by James Blake with special guest New York City Ballet.

I designed this generative piece to react to the live audio feed of James Blake's sounds, meanwhile, customized controllers enabled me to react and guide the visuals as they were generated in real-time. The combination of these elements resulted in a unique and one-of-a-kind visual dance between myself, the machine-generated outputs, and James Blake's performance.
