SONAR 2023

For Sonar Festival this year, I created and performed the stage visuals for Chloe Caillet's DJ performance. This live generative artwork is entitled LUCID. The visual artwork is an interplay between sight and sound, designed to harmonize with the energy and spirit of Chloe's live set.

The goal was to create a hypnotic visual spectacle that responded in real-time to the audio frequencies of the music in the room. Due to the nature of generative digital art, I rendered these visuals live and on the spot; nothing was pre-recorded. Cameras then roamed throughout the audience, capturing moments of dance and movement with members of the crowd that were then seamlessly blended into the stage visuals in real-time.
